The Chartered Banker Master in Business Administration Programme (CBMBA) is a ground-breaking new qualification
that allows candidates to:
- Gain the dual award of a top MBA in Banking and Finance and “Chartered Banker status”.
- Provide an avenue through which the beneficiaries of the programme can acquire the skills to cope with changes in the ever-evolving financial services industry.
- Provide an avenue through which the beneficiaries of the programme can develop professional and vocational skills required in 21st century banking.
- Candidates from Nigeria who are not Associates would be awarded, on completion of the programme “ACIB (Nig)/ACIB (Scotland)/MBA (Bangor)”.
Designed for busy professionals, the CBMBA emphasises professional and vocational development, enhancing the understanding and application of those skills required in 21st century banking.
Where Can I Study?
Anywhere you are in the world, provided that you have access to a computer and an internet connection. Since all materials are delivered through our online learning platform, you can even study while 'on the move', at home, in the office or even in an airport. The CBMA is a truly portable experience.
Where Can I Study?
You can apply anytime to start the CBMA in January and July each year. We divide the year into two semesters of roughly six months in length. You will typically study six modules each year and have a maximum of five years to complete the qualification.
What are the entry requirements?
The following are the expected minimum qualifications for entry to CBMA:
- A good first degree and at least three years relevant management experience.
- An approved professional qualification and at least three years relevant management experience.
- Candidates who do not have a formal degree and/or professional qualification, but who have several years of approved management experience will also be considered.
