Membership Programmes
ACIB GRADUATES INDUCTION / PRIZE AWARD DAY

The Institute organises ACIB Induction /Prize award ceremony for those members who completed the professional examinations of the Institute and are inducted Associates.

During the programme, Prizes and Awards are given to those who excelled at the Institute's examinations at various levels in the previous year.

Objectives of the Programme:
  1. To acquaint graduands with the opportunities associated with their chosen career and to equip the graduands to cope with life after acquisition of ACIB Professional Qualification.
  2. To foster a life-long relationship between the graduands and the Institute.
  3. To inform the graduands of the conduct expected of them as professional bankers.
  4. To bring to the attention of the public the contribution of the Institute and the graduands to the economy.
  5. To present certificates to the Graduands.
  6. To award prizes to students who excel in the ACIB examinations.
Fellows and Associates Forum

The Institute organises annually an exclusive forum for its professionally qualified members (Fellows and Associates) to reflect on issues that affect banking and bankers.

Members of the diplomatic corps and distinguish bankers who have experience in the subject being reviewed present papers which participants consider at syndicate and plenary sessions with a view to improving banking practices and ethical standards in the banking and finance sector.

2nd Annual Banking and Finance Conference

The Bankers Conference is held yearly with the aim of bringing together all stakeholders in the banking and finance industry to brainstorm on topical issues.

It also provides competitive environment where branch reports are received and evaluated.

Conference Objectives

  1. To serve as a platform for a yearly assembly of all stakeholders in the banking and finance industry to address current topical issues.
  2. To share experiences on national and international economic and social developments.
  3. To discuss recent developments affecting banking and financial institutions.
Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Institute is held on the first Saturday of May of every year at the National Secretariat. Election of officers is however held bi-annually during the meeting.
